Placing an order

How do I order art?

Placing an order is very simple: 

  • Go to the artwork of your choice.
  • Click on the button 'Buy this art'.
  • Follow on screen instructions.  
  • When you have paid the purchase, your order is final. 

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail when your order has been successful. 

What are the costs for shipping within NL?

All shipments will be sent insured via a professional courier service (for example FedEx, UPS, PostNL). The delivery charge for The Netherlands is €35,00 per order when you place your order online. The actual delivery costs will be calculated when your order is processed for delivery. Actual costs are charged before shipment when additional payment is required.

What are the charges for shipping abroad?

All shipments will be sent insured via a professional international courier service (for example FedEx, UPS). For European delivery a deposit of €75,00 is pre-charged when you place your online order. The delivery in the USA a deposit of €100,00 is required. Please note, duties are not included. The actual delivery costs will be calculated when your order is processed for delivery. Actual costs are charged before shipment, any over-charges are refunded or an additional payment is required.

Can I have my order delivered somewhere else? 

You can choose any address you enter during checkout. However, you will always stay responsible for accepting the artwork in whichever condition.   

Can I also receive a VAT invoice?

I did not receive a confirmation email, is my order confirmed?

If you did not receive a confirmation email, then something went wrong somewhere. We ask you to send an email to info@artistattic.online

Is there a possibility to see the artwork in person?

It is possible that you would like to see the artwork you are interested in before you place your order. That is possible! Just send an e-mail to info@artistattic.online and we will try to help you. 

Payment

What payment options are available?

It is possible to pay with: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diner’s Club, JCB, Union Pay and ApplePay. Coming soon: IDEAL and Sofort Banking.

I have a voucher, how can I redeem it?

Before completing your payment you will be given the option to enter your voucher code. 

Can I pay at a later date?

No, unfortunately we do not offer this option. 

Can I pay in instalments?

No, that is not possible at the moment. 

My payment failed, what now?

Your order is only final after your payment was successfully processed. If your payment was not processed successfully, you will have to go through the payment process again. If you continue to have problems, please contact us at info@artistattic.online

Do the prices include VAT?

All prices on the website include VAT. 

Delivery

Is there a possibility to pick up the artwork myself?

Yes, that can be possible, in consultation with the artist. You can only make a pickup appointment after you have completed your order, including shipping costs. Once you have picked up your artwork and the purchase is complete, we will refund the shipping costs to you. 

When will my order be delivered?

You will generally receive the artwork within seven days of ordering. If this is not possible, we will inform you as soon as possible. Via a track and trace code you can follow the shipment. 

Artist Attic Online does not possess the artwork. All artwork will be shipped directly from the artists ‘attic’ to your address. The artists will do everything in their power to ship the artwork as soon as possible. Ofcourse we will keep you posted on the estimated time of delivery.

Can I follow the status of my order?

Yes you can! Once the order is shipped, you will receive the details of the shipment by email, so you will be able to track your order.

Returns and Cancellations

You have the right to withdraw your purchase within fourteen days after receiving the artwork without the need for explanation. 

After the consumer has made it known that he wants to use his right of withdrawal, the customer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must be able to prove that the delivered goods have been returned on time. Returns must be shipped insured at all times. Shipping is always at the expense of the buyer.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You can change or cancel your order up to 24 hours after placing it, unless your order has already been shipped. Costs already made will be charged to your account. Please send an email to info@artistattic.online

Can I return my artwork if it does not meet my expectations?

If you regret your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible at info@artistattic.online. You have the legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. Returns must be shipped insured at all times. Shipping is always at the expense of the buyer.

How do I report my return?

Send an e-mail to info@artistattic.online and we will handle the return. Returns must be shipped insured at all times. Shipping is always at the expense of the buyer.

How does the refund of my return work? 

Within 10 days after receiving your return in good condition, you will be refunded for the purchase price minus shipping costs.  

What should I do if the artwork is damaged upon arrival? 

If you notice visible damage to your package upon delivery, please reject it. Damage to your package might indicate that the artwork itself could be damaged too. Contact us as soon as possible at info@artistattic.online. 

In case of doubt we always recommend to film the unpacking of your artwork to avoid liability discussions.  

Damage reports should be made as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours after accepting the package with photo/video proof and a description of the shipment damage to us via info@artistattic.online
